Holding
The court held that an irrevocable inter vivos trust that creates a life estate and a vested remainder interest in a class of contingent beneficiaries cannot be terminated by the settlor alone, even where the settlor retains a testamentary power of appointment, because the remaindermen possess alienable equitable interests that are not extinguished by the power and are necessary parties to any action seeking dissolution.
