Holding

The court held that upon the death of a putative spouse, the entire estate accumulated during the putative marriage must be distributed to the surviving putative spouse as if the marriage were valid, pursuant to Probate Code section 201, and that the trial court’s characterization of the property as partnership assets was therefore erroneous.
